Today Blog I’m going to change the subject a bit and talk about the MLB way to throw the ball.  PUTTING THE PRESSURE  on the bottom half of the ball makes the ball travel farther and straighter on the line of flight. Most players, especially kids, when they throw the ball they put their hands in such a way that they put the pressure on top of the ball with their fingers. With the fingers placed there on top of the ball they then are pulling down as they are throwing. What that does it makes the ball becomes top heavy and thus it  kills its maximum speed  or traveling distance. The correct way to throw the Baseball is arm coming down with your wrist sliding backwards to put the pressure as you throw the ball on the bottom half of the ball and by doing this the pressure on the ball goes to the middle of the ball instead of on top of the ball now the ball has the proper backspin and weight balance to make it travel a longer distance at a faster rate. This is a secret that the outfielders in the MLB with the Good arms use -MIKE
